Black / White- '00 T/A M6/'19 Hemi Truck
The SRT cars have launch control anyway...I think this guy turned TC and stability off and put it in track mode which means he had zero computer help. SRT's in launch mode jump off the line pretty good no matter how much power they have because it feathers the throttle and puts the power down when the tires lock up.. I think it was a mix of inexperience and operator error. Probably just wasnt familiar with the car.

Pretty much every car that has launch control has proved it to be a lazy persons feature. Almost all cars tested have gotten better times not using the LC. GTR, a number of ferraris, lambos, maserati, astons, porsches the list goes on. But I agree he probably wasn't familiar with the car. All I'm saying is if you have a 700hp car that makes over 350trq at idle with street tires and you have never blown the tires off at a track it just means you don't go to the track. No one is going to launch that car in amazing fashion everytime. Except Orion of course

The GTR's are pretty vicious with launch control on...hell, they are monsters in general. The cool part about the SRT launch control is that it acts as a stall as well. Think it doesnt engage until 3,000rpm "with an automatic" and it helps with the throttle. I'm not saying its better than a skilled driver is but this guy should have used it for very obvious reasons lol

Yea maybe he should have used LC lol. Higher stall is cool but nothing new. My legacy GT would stall higher in sport mode than just D. Just over 3krpms.

Somebody tell the hellcat driver he just needs to spin the tires over a few times to clean them off. The smoke show was cute though.
