Probably a good idea. I don't remember ever putting any of our vehicles through a fundraiser car wash... no matter how good the washers looked!

Jetstream Metallic Blue- 1978 Trans Am LS1
Happens all the time to me at autozone...most of the people they hire know nothing or very little about cars. Some are good...but this past Friday, I walked in to buy a horn relay for my 1978 TA. Kid at parts counter says "nope, you are going to have to install a toggle switch like I did" . I said, just look it up ( I knew it was available)...sure enough it was there!
Very frustrating....

Toggle switch? He must have thought that "relay" meant "horn button". What an idiot.
We will be making a Beaver run this coming weekend...

I think it may be getting time to work on the Olds again. Just a couple of minor issues to iron out on the other cars now. Can't believe how quickly summer went by.

Yup, it kinda flew. Really really tempting to bring the bike instead of the car to the track, but I really need to make at least one pass in the car this year and see what the cam/intake/carb did for me. Next years test will be the gears and hopefully the heads.

Jaison? Where the heck have you been hiding?
Morning all. Shouldn't be too bad a week, except that the countdown to the track outing will make it go slow.

Had to warm the area around the plug with my torch to finally get it out. Not a clue why it was so darn stuck.
