Zach - cut out the bad section, flare the ends and join them with a short piece of rubber hose. That should work just fine.

Just changed those exact lines on my Impala. Paid $90 for the pair. I thought that was bad.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Only line that ever rusted out on me was a rear brake line on a Bronco II that Dawn had back when we were dating. I was backing out of the driveway when it let loose. Put me in the ditch across the road. Not sure why the front brakes went so soft, but I had no pedal at all.

I thought about it, but up in the front where the steel mates to rubber to attach to the cooler itself is weeping around that joint as well (its crimped like a hydraulic fitting).

You could simply build a new fitting, install a barb and run rubber line there as well. I may have some fittings somewhere that could work from another radiator.

Unfuggingbelievable...
I never really liked the drain bolt that came on the Milodon oil pan for the Corvette. It has a large head and a nylon seal that looked pretty squished when I removed it this morning. I sent Sammie a text and asked her to swing by Autozone on the way home from work. I then texted her four (4) separate part numbers for 1/2" x 20 oil pan drain bolts that will work, and told her which ones I preferred.
She calls me from Autozone and tells me that they don't have any. I asked her if she gave the sales associate the part numbers and she said, "Yes, but they don't come up on the computer, it says 'Not Available'." When I looked up the part numbers, the website said that they were all in stock in the Mansfield store so I go down after she gets home and sure enough, I find three (3) of the four(4) part numbers on the shelf. I was pissed enough that I pulled the manager aside and informed him what fucktards he has for employees... idiots.

If need be Jeff, one of my good friends is the District/Regional manager in charge of that store and many others in the area. I can get you his number.

That's ok - the manager knows me so I am sure someone got their ass ripped after I left. The female associates actually know more than most of the guys down there. Usually never have a problem when they wait on me.

Zap - forgot to mention that when I left it looked like a group of college girls were setting up for a car wash. Want to run the work trucks down for a bath?

It doesn't hurt that Tara ( not sure if shes still there or not) isn't too hard to look at. She had a baby so she might not be back to work yet. She looked better with a little weight on her, she lost a lot right before she got preggo.

Congrats?

We hit the big 20 this past July. Where has the time gone?
I hope I'm finally done working on the Blazer for a while. Fix the a/c leak (I hope) and found why it seem to be under power. Turns out yes you can run on 5 out of 6 cylinders. Plug wire on #3 wasn't seated. Damn thing runs like a champ. I couldn't hear the miss because of the exhaust leak. Now all is fix.
It's damn love bug season. This is the time of year I'm glad the bird is down. Those evil things eat the shit out of paint.
For the record this cold sucks ass!!!
