rwd vs fwd vs awd on drivetrain loss
Hypothetically speaking say you have the same engine set into three different cars one with fwd one awd and one rwd what's the power train loss say on 350hp engine with a six manual trans?

If I had to guess -- 12 to 15% on the front or rear wheel drive and 18 to 20% on the AWD. There are a variety of articles on the internet that talk about this topic.

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
I think you would have the least loss with the fwd setup, awd will give you the most loss and rwd will be little better than awd because they both run driveshafts but the awd has a transfer case up front as well. you get a huge hp loss transfering power over a 4' tube from front to rear with a driveshaft, That is why electric motors have so much torque because they are direct drive. A 350 hp rwd vehicle should put down 285 to 290 rwhp.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k
