Something Died in my Camaro
I went out to the garage to start my car (I live in Chicago, and its still cold and snowy) and I opened my door and it smells like something died like a mouse or some rodent. I have torn apart my dashboard and glove box and I cant find where its coming from. Does anyone have any suggestions or had any similar issues with this....thanks in advance.

Check under the hood to see if the animal died. The odor could have traveled from the engine compartment into the cabin through the vents. Do you daily your car? Or do you store it during the winter? And if you DO store the car for the winter, do you keep the windows closed?

does it smell like mold? sometimes the tops leak and water pools.
if you do find a rodent start checking wires and looking for a nest. many of car fires start because of those evil bastards stuffing crap in places or chewing on wires.
