For all of my family and the ranch in general, i picked up a 98 dodge ext cab 4x4 and brought it home for use on the ranch, seeings as how my mom and dad were trying to run a ranch and fix things out of a POS bronco, they needed something with a box

Bought my dad a Montezuma tool box since hes been wanting one for years,

Mom got a beast of a blender for all her health crap,

sisters each got a matching necklace earing set, mom and the girls got like a variety pack of Victorias secret lotion and smell good stuff

Got lil bro a Cabellas "gold level" fishing reel, and him and dad got a field dressing kit with 6-7 knives game shears the whole works

bought the ol lady a springfield XD 9mm and a concealed carry permit along with a couples photo sesion

I got a pair of pants, a light jacket, Camo Beanie hat, 5 gallon bucket tool holder deal, and some under armor cold gear gloves

Overall I didnt "make out like a bandit" but I also realize I make more money than anyone in my family so for me its more about being able to give back to where i come from, seeing the look on my dads face when he unwraped the keys to his tool box and then me and lil bro carrying it out in front of him, that look of getting something youve not only wanted but actually needed but couldnt afford, was worth every thing

Matter of fact I'd say when you're talking about newer bows there's not a huge gap in performance like there was 15-20 years ago. There are the top shelf $1500 bows but who really buys those? Most people probably stay in that $500-$800 range I would bet. You're getting a good bow no matter what you get in that price range. I definitely wouldn't be opposed to buying used either....not like they wear out as long as it was taken care of. I'm living proof of that with my 20 year old relic
Really expensive bows are like really expensive guns I think. Sure there is a difference between the top of the line model and the mid-range but chances are unless you shoot 1000 times a week in competitions you probably won't be able to tell the difference because it is so suddle.

There is really only so much tech you can put into a bow. Sure they have gotten better but most of the name brands have figured out how to make decently fast, quiet accurate bows by now.

I'm enjoying coffee from my new Keurig coffee machine as I type this. I've missed coffee in the morning working from home now. I picked up the "My K-cup" single-cup contraption with the screen built in so you can use your own ground coffee in the machine. The damn thing was $21.99 on sale. Really? Picked up an (18) pack of Keurig butter toffee for like $12 though. That didn't seem too bad.

Love having it. No stopping for coffee that tastes like ass anymore. Gf loves it too. Came home to several boxes of tea and hot chocolate for it today.

T-top holders from the trunk of the car, embroidered floor mats, new decals for the trunk lock filler panel, a balaclava for snowmobiling, a crap ton of .40cal, some trans-am apparel, reeses peanut butter trees, chocolate covered pretzels, lottery tickets and a bottle of Jack. I worked a few days over the winter shut down, so I could buy myself an indoor/outdoor car cover.
