First of all I don't just get into fights, this is the only fight I have been in my entire life. You make it sound like I just get into fights and am a bully, which in this case I was defending my self after he came after me because I slightly pushed him to get out of my face. So me confronting a nut job and possibly dying is a moot point because I won't be the cause of that, mainly because I won't try and get into a fight, like I said before I am not violent but I am not a push over either. I pulled my son a side to tell him it wasn't right what I did and that it is never okay to hit someone. I know that doesn't solve it but any indication he develops of thinking it is okay to hit or anything I will solve before it becomes a real problem.
Having a man to man talk won't do any good. My brother thinks he is superior to everyone, knows everything , and in a discussion you are always wrong because he knows better. You can't have a civil discussion with him, he immediately snaps your head off and tries to show how he is in the right. I have tried and tried and tried and now I am done for better or for worse I am done trying with him. It is sort of like having an argument with Sheldon from big bang to a degree.
Maybe when I get my own house things will get better, only time will tell.Last edited by 98TransAmWs-6; 12-06-2012 at 07:43 AM.

Have you tried going to night school and working that job during the day? It'll be hard and take longer to get that degree but you'll be under your own roof. Even if it's a low paying job it should be enough to get an apartment somewhere. You'll be surprised how much closer you'll be to your family once you don't live together...might even patch things up with your bro.

My school is online and I currently work full time but for some reason there is nothing in my area in my price range. I live close to DC so prices are sky high even for apartments. I am considering a second job but my school work might suffer so Idk if I want to risk that. I only have a year left. So I think I can stick it out if nothing else. Also the problem is for me to get the GI bill benefits I must be full time so its not like I could take a few classes so my school work won't suffer. Thanks though. I have some thinking to do.

Jerry Springer, only if there is no doubt the kid is your's and not your brothers. In that case, Maury helps all kinds of nice folks out. Either way, we would love to have a big TV star here at LS1com.

That's really all I'm here for
Just good forum fun!
I think shit happens. My brother and I have gotten in some really stupid fights over the years, regardless; he's my best friend. You guys will get over it, that's what is so hilariously awesome about the brother relationship

Whoever said that you two need to get out from the under the same roof is right. That + period of time = calmer situation.

I never disagreed with everyone
?
I did agree that I need to get out but I only disagreed with the talking it out, at least while I still live here since there is so much anger towards each other.
Yep I know, it sucks living so close to DC though. I may look apartments further out to see if I can afford them and just commute further to work.Last edited by 98TransAmWs-6; 12-07-2012 at 06:01 AM.
