I am going to have to just wait it out for a few months when it comes back down.

It will be back to where it was a few months ago, no doubt in my mind. It might take 6 months but no way in hell am I going to do a lifestyle change (in regards to cars) to compensate for the increase in gas prices. For what I paid for my car, the insurance on it, and the amount of gas for it in 6-8 months is MUCH CHEAPER than buying a new/newer car that is good on gas.
Economics I guess.
I need another motorcycle. Honestly, for gas prices something like a Ninja 250 would suffice.

I have been paying $3.60ish a gallon for premium for awhile now and I drive my Z28 every day. Only car I have besides a truck which is worse. I guess it really isn't so bad though.

Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
I just paid 3.39 for regular today. Filled up my Jeep, it took 18.2 gallons...62 bucks.
I timed it just right too. As I was filling, the guy came out and started changing the price board. Reg went up to 3.44, 93 went up to 3.69.
I filled the Formula up last week with 93 for 3.60/gal, I haven't been driving it, but I figured I might as well fill it up before the price goes up even more.
I'm going to have to start driving it soon, it'll save me close to 20 bucks a week as compared to my Jeep. 300+ miles a week at 15mpg is killing me. That full tank won't even last me a week, it'll only get me to work and back 4 times.
I'm actually thinking of getting a newer, more fuel efficient car. Not just because of the mileage, but both my cars are over ten years old...the Jeep's a '97 with 155k on it, the Bird is a '00 with 105k. It's be nice to have a newer car that is quieter and more comfortable to drive. The Jeeps a rough riding rattletrap, and while sexy to look at, the Formula really isn't that much better.

Found out the other day methanol is $4/gallon. So, that's an extra $8 or so a tank full for me on top of the regular price to fill up. Nice...

Filled my ole 79 1 ton pickup up yesterday. Dual 20 gallon tanks and both tanks had 1/4 left. I went ahead and topped both of with 91 octane (as usual) at $3.69 a gallon. $129 gas bill

Could have been worse though if I had run the tanks down lower
