I'm just saying that the ruling today really isn't much in the grand scheme of things. It's just making Goodell have to redefine his suspensions. They did tell him to tread lightly so to speak on the new punishments he hands out as in don't just rename the offense and suspend everyone for the same amount of time. He will also have to show proof this time which really wont be hard for him to do. No one to my knowledge has said there wasn't a pay for performance plan there.....it just wasn't a pay to injure. Best case scenario is this appeal drags out for a couple months.....most likely Goodell will expedite it though just out of spite and Smith will be gone for 4 weeks in October or November and Vilma will be gone for the remainder of the season.

we're fine either way......we have our bases covered pretty well IMO. Our D has been a little inconsistent so far but that's preseason and vanilla schemes. Our front 7 is going to be pretty bad ass once they get some game action under their belts. Fortunately our O will put up points by the bucket load to help carry them for a couple weeks.

RG3 reminds me a lot of McNabb, minus the flaws. I think gradually the Shanahans will give him more room to use his gifted arm, and that will be fun to watch.

The secondary remains shaky, and I sure hope the team signs or trades (a receiver?) for someone soon, because that could make a difference of a few wins this year. It's not far from what I claimed last winter, that the 2011 version wasn't as bad as its record and if the organization fixed a few holes, it could win many more games this year. I'm pleasantly surprised with how NFL-ready the QB is. There would be more wins with Peyton, but maybe not many more. I still fear that the ultimate limit in the next few years will be the Shanahans themselves.

I start out there every year.....I took some gambles today that I knew I was taking. Better to take them now than the last week which I've also done before that cost me money.

I honestly felt JAX and Buffalo had a better than good chance of winning those games. JAX did but I'm not sure what happened to Buffalo....they gave up 41 against the Jets of all people. They're not that bad of a team.

Congrats on your guys win today. RG3 was impressive for sure. Our D was a step behind you guys the whole day. Our O started out extremely slow but towards the end they put together a few decent plays that leads me to believe they'll recover. Our D I don't know about....I was expecting A LOT better play out of those guys. RG3 though is a badass
