OMG! I'm in love all over again!
Finally.......FINALLY THE SS HAS COME BACK TO ME (Dwayne Johnson voice AKA: The Rock)
Finally after 2 years of not moving I got the SS registered and on the road. It still needs a Dyno tune BAD!! (11 mpg at best/super rich) and now it needs all 4 tires from sitting (Dry rot/cracks) but took it out for a 12 mile easy cruise with 1 flogging and it felt GREAT! Didn't take it over 75 mph due to the tires but nailed it in first and fried yet gripped (I call it slip grip) all through first and layed a nice patch going into 2nd gear. I'm unsure what to get first, the dyno tune or tires now. I really don't want it to sit another winter running this rich when I fire it up to circulate the fluids but can't drive it without tiresEither way I'll figure it out, I always do
Nothing more to this post then extremely happy. Parked it and changed the oil since it sat all winter and now going to enjoy some beer in honor of this great day

Bright Rally Red- 2001 Chevy Camaro Z28
I'd definitely look into some new tires first. The dyno tune won't do you any good if you're sitting on the side of the road with a couple of flat tires
Congrats on getting it running again2001 Chevy Camaro Z28 A4

Thanks Guys
A combination of building my Snowmobile, bills, moving and dating a wonderful girl with a kid
Only reason I want Dyno tune first is I'm afraid of washing the cylinders with this much fuel being dumped

Add me to the get a tune group. Tires can wait over the engine running properly

I'd say find you some good used tires on craigslist (like I did, only had 1,000 miles on them for $250 for all 4) and safely drive to go get your tune. But both the tires and tune are VERY important lol.

I'm going tune......you really need both though if they're cracked. I only say tune is because running it that rich will cause other issues that's going to cost you more money. If you have a blowout and put it around a pole though that can get expensive too.

If the tires are really shit, I don't think the dyno operator is going to be too keen on having them shred on his equipment.

I vote tires. Must be the mother in me. Safety first
