How this setup will run?

I have a bone stock 98 z28 A4 , weekend toy , race once a month

And I have this parts for it

- tsp torquer v3 cam 231/234 111lsa
-1 3/4 headers lts
-3 inch true dual with bullets
-lid
-patriot xtreme double springs .660 lift
-ls2 timing kit
-chromoly push rods
-tci super street fighter 3,600 stall
-cooler

+ ls6 intake on future
+ injectors
+ u d pulley




I can change to a different cam if you guys suggest, but i want to keep that stall. Should i upgrade to a bigger cam such as ms3 ?

what other mods do you have?


By that what I mean is are you still using the stock heads from the 98?



You'll see a little bump but those heads will choke most of the potential gains.



Will you be able to do the tuning?

yes I have hpt pro,

saving $$ to get some PRC 5.3 stage 2.5 cnc

still have the crappy 806s !! not even 243s

It will run but until you get new heads and intake you'll be leaving alot of hp on the table. Also once you get the new heads you'll need another set of push rods for the correct lenght.

I'd wait to do the cam until you get heads at least. Intake is a simple job to do.

Also add LS2 timing chain and LS6 oil pump to the list. These are highly recommended to do. Do this at same time as cam
