need a new crank, cam, oil pump and has metal shavings in the piston skirts but they can fix that and re hone the block from what they said

fix it back to how it was- around 1k with gaskets
buy a used ls1 short block 1500 and sell this one -1000 -$500 roughly
or trade for a 5.3 straight across with 86k- no more money besides head gaskets <<---This is what i think i am going to do just not sure if it will all bolt up and work fine with what i have because im going to run my heads/cam and intake.

There is another guy on here with a 5.3 swap, his car sounded pretty mean. I don't remember much except it had a blue paint job with some odd stripes, and it redlined at like 8 grand...
