I checked behind it and you can see that they just painted over it. I was kind of pissed because it was too late for me to take it back to have them fix it.

Changed these nasty plugs.. Got the old out and put some BR7EF's in there looking to throw a 100-125 shot at them

Looking good! Have you thought about painting behind the grille? If you dont want it to be permanent just use plasti dip

I am thinking about it. I feel like that kinda defeats the purpose of a black grill on our color can...BUT, I haven't seen a picture of one like that. So, I don't really have a good idea of what it would look like. Just ridin' this one out to see if I like this or want something different.

Is that how yours is? Do you or anyone else have an up close picture with the same style grille??

Yeah mine has plasti dip behind it so if I ever want it back pewter it comes right off. My grille has more cross bars and the gaps are tighter. but I'll see if I can find some pics of a gril like yours.

I flipped the car around and backed it in the garage so I can look at it over time.

And...I looked up plasti dip and read some cause I am not familiar with it at all. So...How does it work?Best place to get it from?Prep work?etc...

Yeah those are lights in there. I'm not trying to push you into that direction just threw it out there for you. As far as prep work.... just clean the area you want to plasti dip and spray on like your painting it. I got mine from home depot. Its just like spray paint except you can peel it off whenever your ready.

You arent pushin so thats ok. Definetely dont want the lights in there but i may end up doin the plasti. I was just thinkin that with a black bacground the grille would pretty much look like the original. Could be wrong. Gonna look up more pictures to make a decision. Hopefully I see one here but DOUBT IT on an island
