After reading this thread, I can say with certainty that I'm glad Oklahoma is one of the few states now I've never been to

One up side is the fishing is phenomenal
hunting isn't too bad either. If you're into that sort of thing.. .which I am. Summer time = camping and trot lines.
If you can get away from the cities, we have some pretty damn good lakes. And some really shitty roads
(in and out of the cities)
I've been to quite a few places, I can't see myself moving though. Maybe because I've been here 26.5 years of my 27 years of living (interned in Arizona for a summer).

Wickedls1-sorry I just noticed your PM and its not letting me respond back. But I'm in Tulsa. As you've noticed by now porbally.
Y2karcticSS-Wouldnt doubt it. Wouldn't be recently though and if it was it wouldn't be me driving it anymore. I had to sell it about a year ago.

I wouldn't put it at the top of the list for vacation travel, but if you just happen to be going through, you should definitely make a couple lake stops.

Sorry to hear that, I've been going back and forth on the selling issue myself... I'm sure I've seen the car, whether or not it was you driving I can't remember when I saw it last. I've worked up here since 07, I actually saw Y2KPewterSS's car before I ever knew he was a member here.Last edited by Y2KArcticSS; 03-14-2012 at 10:50 AM.

I can't really say too much
I found a picture the other day from August of 2007. My odometer read "6633" on it. So, in 5.5 years of owning the car, I only put 6,633 miles on it. Pretty sad really.

I was surprised yesterday. I took my car out for the first time since November and the battery was still on 45% charge. Charged it for about 2 hours, if that, and it was at 75% plus. She fired right up and didn't skip a beat. Idle was smooth and steady at 800RPM.

Thanks, buddy. It was inevitable, though. Its time was coming. It had around 230,xxx miles on it and was having some issues when I sold it. The guy I sold it to was going to pull the tired LS1 out and drop a LS6 in it and make it a drag car. Atleast that's what he told me. I lived in Verdigris at the time when I sold it and saw it running around in Claremore a couple times within a month or two after I sold it. But, when I had it, I was always in Tulsa so it could very well be likely you've seen it rolling around town(Tulsa). It's just a car, but I miss it. Extremely fun car to have and I loved the attention it got. Didn't see another one like it which made me happy.
Where at in Tulsa are you? I'm near 36th and Harvard.

I work over on 54th and Lewis. How much did you get for your car if you don't mind me asking?
