You need to weld in a cup holder, cig holder, sandwich holder, and wire in a bluetooth tied into the laptop for voice activated tuning. That way you might be able to keep one hand on the wheel at least

Oh trust me, It's going to have atleast 2 cup holders a few 12v outlets and I'll hard wire a small inverter to plug the laptop in lol

I need to ditch the torsion bars after all, the way I set the framerails up the torsion bar would sit WAY too low along with the cross member....so I ordered a set of coilovers last night and I hope to have them by next weekend.....I'm still going to use the s10 lower control arms, but need to weld a tab on them to mount the coilovers.

Got some more work done tonight!
Engine mounts are welded in and engine is bolted to them, test fitting, cut, adjusted and welded the passenger side suspension and got it working right. Ditched the torsion bars and hope my coilovers will be here by the weekend!

No pics, but I got the drivers side a arms and wheel on last night and my coilovers are due in today do I can get the car up off blocks and sitting pretty by itself

That's what i want to see, it sitting pretty all on is's own. I bet you it will look wicked and it will be right. nice job on the motor mount back and low lets get the weight right. I bet you lost 1500 t0 1800 lbs. Mark, you keep things interesting!!! Jack

Finally after over 4 months the goat is sitting on all four tires without jack stands or blocks!

Engine is moved back 10"s and It's time to mock up the firewall!

Did you widen the front track at all? Looks like your front tires are about even with the monsters out back.

Overall the front track was widened 2"s, but I had 1" spacers behind the front wheels to bring them out to match the front of the widebody.
When I first build the body I pulled the quarters and Fenders out 3"s on each side

I'm thinking about trying to figure out dome duct work to run up to a large hood vent on each side to get air through the radiator and back out of the hood instead of under the car, plus may take one of the stock frills and desk it off to make a true ram air.....but still not sure lol

Fab up some recesses in the hood toward the windshield and make some wedges for the ducts. Then finish them off with some mesh for heat extractors.

That would be very cool, seen it done on something but can't remember what it was but very effective, and a ture ram air would be real nice, I have done some mods to the stock thru the hood ram air and have managed to get 7 degrees from ambient in 90 degree temps. The fire fall you are going to build will be interesting and are going to keep the stock dash. I have not seen anyone do a gto this way, what a lot of work, it's looking good and can't wait for more pics and info!
