I think my paintless dent repair guy could fix that.

J/k. Glad the wife is ok. One thing about the 99 anniv editions, the wheels are irreplaceble and impossible to match the blue tint on them so make sure they are all original if you go that route.

It was an 02 not a 99 and it was the Collectors edition not the anniverary edition.
Plan on arguing for a while. Even if they admit fault they are more than likely not going to give you truly what it is worth. You should at least be able to argue them up to a fair amount, but I doubt it will be enought to by another CETA. Good luck. I have been through this before.

I was rear ended once badly. Car looked similar to the OP's. I was in physical therapy for 8 months due to a back injury. I had State Farm. They paid for my therapy sessions, doctor's appointments and all tests. The defendant only had $25,000 in vehicle accident coverage so once that was exhausted, the remaining money came from my policy; under insured motorists which consisted of another $25,000.

All said and done, we had an arbitration and I was awarded a dismal $13,000.

This is why I've read all my fine print with my policies. If your insurance payments are really cheap, it's because corners are being cut. You would be amazed what simple things people skip out on that can screw you, like a minitort, a cheap part (around $10 a year) that protects you from being sued having to pay $500 if the other person doesn't have collision. At least this is a Michigan policy.

An insurance lesson: Liability coverage is what states require you to purchase and it only protects the other guy in an accident -- not you! You want to carry both underinsurance and uninsurance coverage and stack your limits if you have multiple vehicles. Also, if your jurisdiction offers limited tort coverage (like Pennsylvania) skip it and and stick with full coverage. You may save yourself a few dollars with a cheaper policy, but when the crap hits the fan having the appropriate coverages makes all the difference. If you do not have health insurance you may want to up your medical coverage on your auto policy. Likewise, if you do not have a disability policy through your employment, or have a very limited one, you may want to opt for wage loss benefits as well. You get what you pay for...

we have State Farm full coverage on both cars, just suck if we have to pay the deductible and have to file on our insurance since the accident was not our fault.the other party is no answering phone calls from their insurance ,which is not a good sign to me.

Ouch! Good thing there were no rear passengers and glad the wifey is okay. How many miles were on the car? Not sure what I'd do on scene to the other party if it was my car.

I am pulling for you. Like I said, If I were you I would take any stock parts you have lying around and swap them back on it. They are not going to pay you anymore for the mods you did to it. Just thinking about dealing with the insurance companies and stuff like this ticks me off.

I think that depends on the policy you have. I have it specifically stated in mine what I have done to my car so it's covered in the event that something awful would ever happen. I was informed the only thing I needed to supply was receipts, if need be ever.

What the company will do is they will only give you enough money to buy used parts and bottom dollar. For instance, a BBK intake that you paid $500 for, they will probably give you $200 and say it wasn't new anymore. Trust me, they are master of paying the absolute minimum possible. They use all sorts of loop holes and ways around it.

Hey David, I still have my LS1 intake and stock TB if you got access to the wreck and want to swap it out we can work something out.

PM me if interested. I honestly don't think I'll ever be able to sell it and only have been keeping it as a spare in case of emergency.

I also have some other parts like the PHB, LCA's, TA and I think I still have the original air lid.
