    GM does penalize dealers for "demand markup". That's nothing new, they've been doing it for several years now (you may recall a few articles about this when the ZR1 came out), but it doesn't seem to actually stop the practice.

    Good they should be. We already paid for these cars to be manufactured anyway. They should give everyone who pays taxes a new car.

    Interesting IF the dealer holds to it. I know a guy who made a deal for MSRP on a LS Boss. When it came in the dealer called and told him "we have to talk". They wanted $10k more and he said FO. They sold it to someone else...

    That guy should have called Ford. I know if that were a GM dealer, the guy could have called GM corporate and that dealer would have been in deep shit. More importantly, they would have been forced to honor the deal. I would imagine Ford would do the same.
