I have a Hurst Billet Pro in mine. I like it. Nice, short shifts.

I drove my buddies SS and he had the Hurst in his car. I liked the throw and the feel of the shifts of it and so i ordered one for mine. Total improvement over stock.

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
Pro 5.0 with Lou's Short Stick. Love it, also almost anything is better then stock shifter.
Which ever one you get I'd recommend using lock tight on the stop bolts. I had to go back and re-tighten after about 500 miles and many throws. Since the lock tight, no more problems.
It goes in easy, in fact takes longer to remove the center consul then it does swapping the shifter. Also some do, some don't - run a bead of RTV to help seal it to the tranny.
