It's not how fast you can go. It's how fast you can get there.

sunset orange metallic- 2002 T/A convertible
ykydata........When you actually take the car out at night, to go for a brew or five, and drive around the block three or four times so you can get a parking spot either next to the corner or next to a driveway so at least ONE end of your car won't be backed into by the "bumper-car" parking assholes.

Black 2002 T/A M6- Green 1997 Ram 4x4
You're scared to peel out because you can't afford a 9-inch yet.
You can't afford a 9-inch because you spend all your money on detailing products and gas.
You spend more time working on/adjusting the headlights than any other mod/maintenance.
You avoid driving at night because you don't trust the headlights.
You spend an hour in a Jack in the Box parking lot at dusk trying to get your headlights working again so you can make it home.
A Lamborghini Countach parks next to you at a car show, and the guy with the big, expensive looking camera has his back to it while taking pics of your car.
An old couple in a Mercedes SLK follow you into a movie theater parking lot just to tell you you're car is beautiful and ask what it is.

You know you drive a T/A when you sit down and read over 14 months of posts and still want to read more!! Lol, 90% of these comments have been true for me too. I was thinking that most of the stuff was just my car, nice to know that other T/A drivers have the same experiences!!

Maple Red Metallic- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am M6
I've heard of glass bending.. but peeling? Or are you talking about the seals? All I gotta do is wash my car and 'oh look.. I washed the inside of the windows too'. But that's a T-Top thing.. not so much a T/A thing.
YKYDATA when you realize that your panel gaps look worse when you park it next to a Camaro.
YKYDATA when it's a Sport Gold 98 and that color 9/10 looks better on your car than a Camaro. Even with the One on the left.

YKYDATA when you spend 2 weeks, $70, 2 pullies, 1 maindrive belt, 1 ac belt, 1/2 jug of dishsoap, 1/2 a can of baking powder, 1 can of WD-40, every kind of lubricant vato zone has, and who knows how many hours just trying to fix a STOOOPID squeaky belt..........that still hasn't gone away -_____-
I swear if I didn't love this stupid thing so much I would've put a sledgehammer through the hood already and said F it.

You know you drive a Trans Am when a little 5 year old boy comes up to you at the restaurant and says "You have a cool car mister." As his dad waits by their camaro.
