I will admit, the first time I saw the "thrush" back when I was, like 5 years old, I thought of Woody Woodpecker too. Then my father and uncle told me about Thrush mufflers. We were working on my unlce's friend's 69 Camaro. Had a 350 small block with headers and 3-inch pipes running two Thrush glasspacks. Sounded beastly. Base model. No spoilers or stripes. All black with gold steelies and a cowl hood. Automatic too. Damn...did I love that car.
