Yeah it'll add hydrocarbons for the engine to burn and lower the idle.
Check to make sure your stupid adjustable throttle cable didn't get pulled in a shortening manner during the swap

DMH makes a nice unit and it is not at all expensive.

Well the the 10 bolt finally called it quits today. Took the car for a little ride before and heard a clunk. Took it home and put it up on the lift to pull the cover and found some nice metallic fluid and a chunk of the pinion missing. Looks like I will be starting my winter projects a little earlier than expected lol.

Sorry to hear. We'll be at the track for the next two weekends. Forecast for this coming weekend looks good so far.
