Yeah, my girlfriends son downloaded it last night and played a bit. I told him I'll be getting the full release once it comes out next month. The actual game looks pretty amazing.

BF2 multiplayer was amazing aswell. The graphics are def better in BF3 though. I tear it up on BF2 so why not BF3

Played the beta for 8 hours or so this weekend. IMO BF2 is better. The only thing this new BF3 has is graphics. You cannot blow holes in any wall like you could in BF2 which was a huge reason for me liking the game more than COD. Although they do not have hardcore mode released the game is disappointing to me.

Why do game makers have to be morons. Everyone loved cod modern warfare and then modern warfare 2 came out and it was still decent and then black ops which was horrible. Counter strike 1.6 was great and then boom source which sucked ass.

Why couldnt they have keep the game play the same with new maps and graphics.

While I agree, Black Ops isn't as good as MW, you can't really compare the two, as they're developed by different companies. Infinity Ward did COD 1 & 2 and has been heading off the MW series and Treyarch has done pretty much everything else since COD 3, which includes the World at War games and Black Ops. There's so many map packs out for Black Ops now, it's nuts.

Played for a bit friday night and wasn't impressed, namely that a single shot with a sniper rifle center mass wasn't a kill shot.

Agree with above. Wasnt really impressed. The more i play the better it gets but so far its just ok to me

Thats because beta does not have hardcore mode. Non-hardcore mode in BF2 you can headshot someone with a assualt rifle and it may not kill them, which is why I only play hardore.

I understand that MW and BO were two different companies but it just seems all the FPSs I like are ruined when the next installment comes out. But then most people move to the new game anyway which means less payers playing on the good game and then mass hacks start because everyone is so focused on the new game that the play quality of the old goes to crap.

Played a little of the campaign last night, it blows the others away in realism, the bad company's campaigns were gay, with all the joking and looking for gold, the guns looked fake, this battlefield is leaps and bounds ahead of the previous ones. Kinda like comparing a 88 z28 to a 99 z28 lol

graphics and gameplay are great. i've seen online where some people were having problems with the game but they reloaded everything and it was fine so i don't know if it was a game glitch or their xbox. either way i have had no problems except one and it has nothing to do with the game itself but rather with EA.

there's the promo to get the m1911 right away through gunclub.ea.com. so i go there and i can't create an account. when i finally do create an account it says that i need to use my origin (ea) gametag...how the hell do i do this? it says "choose your weapon and play using your origin account." how the hell do you do that on an xbox?!

also i want to get into battlelog and it says to use your origin account which i apparently set up last nite using my facebook account but it won't recognize it and now it says that i'm blocked. this add on shit is kinda pissin me off.

Not really to worried about campaign, I want to know how the online is to those who played BF2 online. BF2 online was 100times better than COD BO. I just hope they got it right in BF3
