Lions are this yrs sAints "dream team" to the Superbowl.

they've only play one real tough team so far and they bearly one that one in OT.

I was rooting for the Lions even though it would have been better for the Packers if they had lost. But thats only because I hate the Vikings and Detroit needs something to look forward too. You have to find a silver lining when everyday you work to make more money but your property value drops and you actually have less money than the day before.

This isn't about "haters". This is about being realistic.

The only thing you've said so far that really makes any sense was about Johnson.

Wait until they play the Packers twice, Chicago twice, and New Orleans. If they can come out of that mess 3-2, then you'll have something.

I've heard the odds rival the top teams in the league at this point in the season.

But this sunday they come to cowboy stadium! If my wr's can learn their routes and center can ignore all voices except romo we should have a chance to score a td! considering their line blocks, a running game is established and dez's roids dont run out by halftime! GO COWBOYS!

I've been waiting for detroit to win a few games for a while now. Lord knows they need it. I don't think they're anywhere near being the best in the nfl but I see them doing well this year. I'd say there's an outside chance they can also win that division and go to the playoffs.

While I dont think they can win the division unless the packers key players start getting hurt anything can happen

I bet they at least split the games with the packers. You have to be cautious with these teams.....they can get up for 1 game and really surprise a team. They do that plus the schedule difference plus the fact every team is going to play their best against the pack and I can see a slight chance of them winning the division.....not much of a chance but crazier things have happened.

Jerry Jones didn't look too enthused about it, that's for sure. Still won't be impressed until the lions beat a better team... Not degrading them, they just haven't impressed me yet. They would have a hard time closing the gap if, say, the packers got an early lead like that. Dallas is notorious for blowing a good game with sucktastic 2nd half play

Every weekend now everyone keeps saying dont get excited they only beat so and so....well damn a win is a win! Im not even a lions fan but im rootin for them just so everyone will respect them. If you win games you win games nd right now based on their record, they are the best team in the nfl!

I would say the Packers are the team most consider the best team in the league right now, and they are unbeaten as well.
