Removed My Side Molding!
so iv been debating this for a bit based on if my paint was faded and what not... and took the plunge into it finished both sides and am really digging it! heres the before and after.... i will have some more pictures after clay baring it and waxing it...
part way through passenger side!
passenger side removed
driver side removed
and all the molding still in one piece and completly reusable
how you guys like it?

Looks good. I have thought about doing the same on our car. What did you use to remove the adhesive -- the 3M stuff?

Good job. So much cleaner. I debadged my doors, too. So clean!

It really cleans up the body lines on 'Birds.

I was debating on whether or not to do this with my car...I was afraid of doing it because my car is white.

Maybe its a TA thing. Camaro guys are all worried about being badged as a ss or a z.

i enjoy the z28 on the side the only thing i want to do with them is get some new ones like chrome or the zr1 style...

Very true, but my car is loud enough i dont need the badgesbut next appearance mods will be hood and SS spoiler! just got to find them for the right price or have the money!
ill have some when i get her all cleaned up and perdy looking!!!

It looks nice. I like it. It really never bothered me so I never took the initiative to remove them from my car. Then again, I haven't done any appearance mods on my car to date other then the 35th LE grille.
