Frost Tune
Hey All,
Just wanted to give my feedback on my experience with Steve, whom most of you know as Frost on here.
We started coordinating with one another through PM after I began my install when I found out he would be in my area tuning cars last month (about 2 hrs away) prior to him booking his trip out my way so I was able to schedule my car install accordingly, giving us time to get it completed before he flew in.
I won't get into the details of it all, but Steve spent a ton of hours diagnosing my car for me. He probably got little to no sleep most nights as they worked into the morning hours trying to get the car diagnosed and dialed in while he was out here for the few days that he was.
Even though everything took probably 10X longer than most because of all of the troubleshooting that was needed, Steve still charged me what he quoted me.
After I received the car back, I wrote him an e-mail asking him some questions. He called me on the phone later in the day and he actually talked to me for almost an hour and a half going over all the details of everything.
Steve even posted in my threads giving his advice on things along they way which was very helpful.
Lastly, he suggested the installer to me. I couldn't have been happier working with the guy I did. He was very meticulous, knowledgeable, and kept me in the loop at ALL times through texts, phone calls, and e-mails.
I have to say, without even meeting him, he's a stand up guy, really humble for doing the type of work he does, extremely knowledgeable in his field, and just an overall good guy.
The car is dialed in perfectly at WOT and runs very strong.
Thanks again for all your help, time, and added effort on this one buddy. It is very appreciated.
I'm extremely happy with the services that have been provided to me. Mark off yet another happy customer!

I believe it's Virginia he's based out of......he does a lot of mail order tunes where you send him your pcm and he mails it back. Normally it's a really quick turn around but with you being in Hawaii that probably wouldn't be the case. He usually ships them out the same day he receives them but you'd have the postal thing to deal with so there'd be an extra couple days I'm sure.
Steve's a very busy dude and there's a reason for that.....he's damn good at what he does. Have a little patience with him and it'll be worth it.

Well i actually wont need a tune for little while. Im moving back to houston within the next couple of years. So it will be more geared towards that time frame. For now im just getting all the parts ordered and do one install and one tune. If hes as good as everyone says then i want him too.

When he tuned my car, there were something like 10 other cars being tuned also. With that said, his travel expenses get allocated over all 11 people.
For what it's worth, even with that cost included, the cost to me was still about the same that I paid for my DYNO tune a few years ago.
Steve has been working some VERY long hours, and a lot of them.
I don't think he's been on the site a whole lot lately because of this. He may very well be on the road again. I know he was supposed to come back out my way sometime towards the end of July.
