Black- 1999 Camaro Z28
I wanted to contribute to this thread since I found it helpful while choosing wheels/tires. Over this weekend I installed the ever popular TTII's. I went with 11's in the rear mounted with Nitto 315/35/17's. I also installed Hotchkis lowering springs at the same time.
So far I've not had to hammer or grind anything and have seen zero rubbing. I did have to center the rear using an adjustable panhard rod I previously installed. Based on what I saw when I was under the car the jounce bumper really only needs to be modified for convenience, not necessity. And currently I think I might be one of the lucky ones regarding room inside the wheel wells themselves. I've got 100 miles on her so far. I'll check them again after a few more days to confirm no rubbing. But so far I'm quite pleased. I'd prefer leave my car structurally stock so I was gambling a bit on 315's on 11's.
