I thought you were talking about the ttop bags. The shades are way overrated. Get the ttops tinted as dark as you can. Then you dont have shdaes to worry about. Or get handprints, cig burns,etc... Money better spent on tinting.

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
The tint doesn't keep the heat out nearly as well as the shades. Mine stay in all the time, if I want the sun, I take them out.

I never installed the velcro tabs on mine. Just left the sticky backing on the velco that would normally stick to the t-top to hold them in..
The velcro was'nt/ is'nt needed.
With the shades properly installed between the t-gasket and the head liner they won't move or come out without removing the t's..Last edited by Smittro; 06-19-2011 at 08:17 PM.

I’ll have to look at that tomorrow; I didn’t put mine in because I was worried I would have those little tabs stuck on my tops.

It's fairly easy. The Camaro T's are identical to yours.
It's a little bit of a pita to get them together with the lock handle in the open possition but I did it all the time in just minutes.
Just have to get the flatened edge of the shades into the gap between the base of the roof gasket and the head liner so it's
sort of "pinched" between the two in the gap. Works like a charm and they wont budge.

I wish gm came up with a better design for these t top sun shades. They cant be removed with out removing the t top itself. pain in the arse IMO
