She texted me tonight asking if I was in Chicago tonight...

I replied...no response from her. Still playing games it seems. Or, she is waiting to see by her not responding is going to set me off since I used to have a short fuse. Either way, I don't get it.

It's been nearly an hour now since she texted me.

Not likely. I believe she is playing games. She is probably still unsure if she really wants to get back with me.

She basically played the "I don't want you making the drive up here if you're not already up here" card.

After about a dozen texts back and forth, I never heard from her again last night.

I went out with my boys and got hammered beyond belief. It was a great night lol.

My ex is like that just add a little bipolar to the mix and it makes for fun times. Miss her but not the all the issues. But put us in the same room and there is no telling what will happen even now.

Nah. She has her own money. She loved the car and going for rides in it. She's very happy for me that I am getting this done. She knows how long I've been wanting this.

On a side note, haven't heard from her at all today

I guess the card I need to play here is to not act too eager the next time she contacts me. This is how I was at the very beginning. I acted like if we hang out, cool, if not, no big deal. This seems to be how "most" women are. They want what they can't have. They like the thrill of the chase. It really is a game. I've dated long enough now and have met enough women now to know.

This is EXACTLY what my best friend told me and he used to get hot women ALL THE TIME.

It's a hard mentality to have when you love a girl though...

I've been talking to this other girl for a couple of weeks. She is one of the last few I've met from that site...

Prime example here. I asked her Friday morning if she had some time to meet up this weekend. She said no, not now, don't wait til the last minute before you ask next time.

I simply replied, OK, have fun then...didn't text her anymore Friday and all day Saturday.

Last night guess who texts me...her. Hey, what are you up to? I said, just finishing up some stuff (I was changing rotors/pads on the Impala). She is like, I need some new people to hang out with...tonight was a total bust. I said, well that sucks, try to enjoy the rest of your night, I'm heading out here in a bit so I'll ttyl. She tried calling me, but I let it go to VM.

I didn't contact her at all today...guess who is texting me again right now? Yup.

See there, women FUCKING LOVE the guy who doesn't give a shit at the beginning.

cliff notes...I dated a girl last yr...very intense relationship from the beginning...very strong connection the whole time from her...i was into another girl at the time so eventually the gf got sick of my shit and walked away....then i realized i loved her...we kept in contact but she kinda moved on....i kept trying to win her over time and time again...but she wasnt ready so finally after 6 months i stopped contact all together.

She told me today that she passed out Sat night when she got home...she was drinking at the festival all day. She also mentioned Sat night that we could set something up a different day to meet up and hang out.

I guess I wait to see if she asks me to do something...
