straight pipes? lose or gain power

Yeah, I just went upstairs in to my magazine boxes and can't find it. Once I got rid of my '89 and got my '02 I pretty much ditched anything that didn't directly involve an LS series engine. I knew I shoulda kept that stuff. DOHT!!!

Wat difficulties

Well I just ran into an issue of not being able to pull my trans back off and down without some serious fanagling.

Basically they just need a little more attention than a y setup as thats what our cars were designed with.

And straight pipes sound pretty bad. Im going to be putting mufflers on mine here soon to try and add some tone to it.
Now its just loud as fuck, which is fine, but there is no tone/depth/goodness to it.

It actually sounded louder with the Y pipe. Maybe all the rasp or is it the vid? TD sounded better though.
