Is it about an hour or so from where you live?

Took us about 2. Picked up a friend on the way out though, so I'd guess about 1 1/2 normally. GPS said 100 miles from my house. Not too bad really.

That's what it is for us to get to Beaver Springs Dragway -- 100 miles and it always take right around 2 hours.

Wow mine is about 20/25 minutes away. And I drive there on skinny's and slick's...

Absolutely. Makes working on the house awful difficult too.

Thompson Raceway is only about 20 min. which is usually where I race. This was the Summit Racing Cavalcade of Stars in Norwalk. It is a much better track really. I have a friend with a tube chassis Monte, he'll hit 8.8/8.9 at Norwalk but can't hit below 9 at Thompson. They really prep the track so much better at Norwalk.....which with a stock 10 bolt.....let's just say a 20 min. tow home wasn't all that much fun let alone 1 1/2 hrs. Now, things are a little different....I may have to take the car out there and see if I can't drop a little lower in the 11s.

11.98. Only happened once right after I threw the M/Ts on. The next run destroyed the gears. Haven't run it since.

I went to a local cruise in we have every 2nd Sat of the month tonight. Anyways does anybody else promote the site like me? I got asked several times tonight where I learned so much about my car and such, and I always try to point them here. I had a one Camaro and couple of T/A's owners that have just recently bought them or have had them for a while and know nothing about them.

This one elderly couple (50's) were asking me everything. I gave the site, told them about the common trouble spots to look for and even gave my # if they had any issues.

Yep. Before I joined the site, and before I realized how weak it really was. Spent a lot of money on that rear too.....at least Spaz gets to benefit from it. I told him it was an early wedding gift

I am stunned the gears did not just fall out when you put the M/T's on. All I did was put on a aftermarket BMR TA... And Snap...

I made the mistake of trying to beef it up first - axles, diff, gears, ect.. Kept everything from breaking, except the gears. Went through 3 sets and gave up.

Yeah I blew the stock 10 at the track. I took the second one out just driving it. I then went then with a 12 bolt.

Yep. I just finished the 9" install. However, I'm going to need an outboard if it doesn't stop raining soon.
