Navy Blue Metallic- '00 Formy A4
Question for anyone around 6'5" or taller...
What kind of car do you drive and fit in comfortably?
My sister and her husband, who's 6'5, are looking for a 2nd car, and it has to be something he can get comfy in. I'm trying to find some things to suggest to her other than large SUV's.
Thanks.

My best friend and mechanic for my Camaro is 6'7" and he fits in my Camaro just fine. Since I take it, they don't want a F-Body, I would say a Buick would probably fit him nicely.

If you want something with decent mpg's try a Crown Vic/Grand Marc/ Town Car. Roadmaster, S-class.

It depends on if he is long legged or has a long torso. I have stubby legs for being 6'2"-3"
My inseam is 30 and most people my height are wearing at least a 32 and some a 36 even. When I sit in a Southwest Airlines jet my head is entirely above the seat back and I see mostly the tops of people's heads if anything. If my legs matched my upper body I would probably be 6'7" or so. (which would suck)
Basically I have a giant upper body and dinky legs. That said, the new Challengers are very comfortable for me. The new Camaros are horrific, I look to my left and see headliner. I drive a 2004 Focus for a work car and people are amazed at the tiny car I drive but it has tons of headroom.
If he has long legs the last car I remember driving that I could put the seat back too far for me to reach was a quad cab Colorado pickup.
Scion Xbs are perfect unless you are wide like me.

A Buick might be in their price range...maybe LaCrosse or Lucerne. I actually kind of like the Lucerne for myself, I'd like to have a V6 luxo barge for a DD.
I'm not sure of budget actually, she just sort of mentioned in passing they were starting to look. One of the cars she mentioned was a '06 or newer Explorer, which made me want to be able to suggest some non-SUV alternatives. So I'm thinking maybe 15 grand or so max.

i'm 6'4" so i'm not exactly the height you are looking for but i can say that my g6 has great front seat room. it's the first car that i've been in that i didn't have to put the seat all the way back in order to have comfortable leg room.

Wow, I find it amazing that you fit in the T/A. I was actually just joking around w/my sis about him probably having to take the driver's side t-top off to fit in my car.
Thanks for all the suggestions everyone, now I have a few suggestions for her.
I think they're kind of set on some kind of SUV for some reason actually, perhaps becasue they think he wont be comfortable in anything else. Although oddly enough, when they first met he was driving a Mitsu Mirage 4-door that he fit in okay. I want to talk her out of the SUV thing...he just bought a F-150, so they already have a utitlity vehicle...I think it'd make much more sense for them to have some sort of car, esp. the way gas prices are going.
My other car is a SUV ('97 Grand Cherokee), and when it's time to replace that, no way in hell am I buying another one. I'm all set with 16mpg. I find it a little commical that my Formula is my "economy" car, haha.

I'm 6'7" and drive an 01 Silverado crew cab. I have a 36" inseam and long torso and can't fit in any car comfortably. I've had to modify every drivers seat of every car I've owned so far. Two things that suck to shop for when you're tall; 1. clothing 2. cars.
I started a thread on tech about the new G8 and their leg/head room and had a reply from a guy that's 6'9" and says he fits just fine. Have yet to try one.

always dirty- 2013 Ram 2014 Caddy ATS
I'm 6'4" and fit in my camaro fine. I also have a subaru legacy and have no issues fitting, the seats are terrible though. Mom has had all generations of malibu and I fit fine. Whenever I have rented a minivan I always find them comfortable.

sunset orange metallic- 2002 T/A convertible
I'm 6'4" with long legs. I could use a little more legroom in the T/A as my left knee rubs annoyingly on the arm rest. Maybe a redesign of the door panels to get rid of the 'big-by-large' door pulls. Drive a '92 yukon 2-door as a DD, great head and leg room.
