me - ls1 350 5.7 liter
parts guy - is that a 4 cylinder, 6 or 8

some dude - what engine do you have
me - Ls1
some dude - ah man swap that for an LT1, much better and faster engine

some dude - what engine does it have
me - ls1
some dude - you should swap for the corvette engine

some dude - damn your car sounds like a big block
me - its not, its just a cammed 350
some dude - a 350 is a big block

some dude - want to race (had an eagle talon)
me - sure, for $200
some dude - can you give me a few lengths at start?

some dude - want to race
me - sure how does $150 sound
some dude - oh never you dont have street legal tires
me - yes I do, these are Nitto DR and say DOT approved
some dude - no way, DOT tires stick like slicks, I'm not racing now.

Well this isnt a particular question about my car...BUUUUUT it is just as stupid.

I went to get an estimate on getting my windows tinted. Anyway, after a lengthy conversation about cars, the guy tells me that he use to own a 2004 Camaro. Needless to say that anyone who works with cars for a living and tells me something like that, doesnt deserve to tint my windows.

Who did the rear drive conversion on your GTO? Yeah, this one stumped me. He said he had seen this thing done to a Grand Prix before.....haha
