Over 4 bucks here in Woodstock, GA. Sad thing is that I've been driving my `79 Firebird (400) 70 miles a day as my DD and it was costing me 75.00 like every 4th day. I'll be saving some money by driving the TA as I just finished everything that I've been doing on her.

Mmmmm....,
If you ever come to the UK be prepared for a shock! At the mo we are paying, give or take the detailed maths around NINE US dollars a gallon.
I know our gallons are slightly bigger than yours, but..........

Few threads on this now. It's hurting everyone.
Don't buy gas in ChicagoYou're close enough to Dyer, IN from what I remember. I paid $3.39 in Hobart for regular in the Impala.
Come spring I will be buying premium at $4.XX/gallon PLUS methanol at $4.00/gallon. It sucks, but it's a must.

Well, I moved to the North side so now I live near Evanston/Skokie/Lincolnwood. I gas up there whenever I can esp when I know the distance to get there is negligible. I miss gettin gas from the Indiana side tho. My girl lives there now and she said the gas in her town went up $.26 overnight (only to $3.65).
I know that on April 1st, the oil companies will start to go to the summer formula for oil, which will automatically raise the gas prices. Just wait til the heart of the summer travel season....starting with Memorial Day. I am just glad that I no longer have to drive to work now that I am in walking distance.

Ah, well that makes more sense then. Didn't realize you lived up north now. It sucks that EVERYTHING (gas included) is more expensive in IL. I have been in a pinch before while up in the city (I work on the south side and hang out in Wrigleyville/Gold Coast from time to time) and have had to stop for gas and just buying 5 gallons or so to get me back was frustrating.
You're definitely right though. Gas prices will continue to go upwards, especially once the travel season hits and the weather gets warmer.
We all might have to get a part-time job just to cover the expense of banging gears...and our women

The thought of a pt job sounds good, but then i think of all that free time that disappears...sux. When I shop big i try to do it at the very least, out of city limits. When travelling and I see the gas is low, then i make sure I can get to the cheapest gas station on my route.
Doesn't look like there is any relief in sight.

Nope... thoroughly British, and have been all my life!
I always wanted an F body and a fourth gen also. I had a good look around atall of the old 3.8 nails over here and finally had to go the importation route and spent many weeks scouring all of the usual classifieds, ebay, you name it and found this low miles gem in Upstate NY and brought it over around 18 months ago!
Certainly not a cheap game but i got the car i wanted. It was not necessarily going to be a WS.6 but as i delved deeper i thought i'd best go for one as it will be a help when i finally come to sell.... but that is certainly not yet!!!!!
Trev.. Paying loads to put gas in it
