2 beers can put you over the limit. You can be fine to drive but still end up with a dui at .08

Carry a pint of Jack Daniels under your seat. If pulled over after drinking. ......allow the cop to come to the window...hand him your license and shit and down the entire pint right in front of him. He now cannot charge you with driving over the limit (DUI) he can only charge you with public intoxication. Yes it works and yes it has worked numerous times.

You sure this will still work with dash cams? Personally, I wouldn't be reaching under the seat while I'm pulled over. Seems like a good way to get tased or shot.

Don't really care if you buy it or not. I was standing there when he blew. The cop threw the meter down and then proceeded to take him to jail to be tested there after he blew twice and passed the sobriety field test.

Open container here is 80, not sure how much public intox is, but I've heard of Sarge's tactic working. Never tried it myself.

It takes forever so I could see it working. Get searched, search car, breathalyzer, field sobriety, then off to the hospital for blood test. You'll probably have to still pay for your car to be towed and for the blood test.

I bet it'd be over a 1000 dollars before you are finished, but without a DUI, or maybe they wouldn't bother to do that since you weren't technically drinking and driving...idk.

Manswers confirmed there is no way to get past a breathalyzer. However If you burp the cop is required to wait 30-45 min (cant remember the time) but the burp gives the blower false readings. So if you feel like waiting and you can make yourself burp then thats your best bet I guess

Dont waste your time and possibly someone elses life trying to "beat" a dui. The best way to beat the breathalyzer is to not drink.


I have had one. I'll finally admit it here. It changed my life and the way I view having a drink and getting in a car. Heres my take on it............

1. Anybody can get one. You DO NOT have to be what you or even your friends view as "drunk". The state does not care how strong your buzz was. You only need to give the cop a reason to pull you over and "think" you are intoxicated. You take that breathalyzer and you blow over the legal limit? You are fucked pal. Theres no such thing as, " I could drive perfectly" " I barely even felt a buzz". Guess what, you are always more impaired then you think you are.

2. Sometimes people get DUI's because they have a severe drinking problem other times its simply just bad judgement.

3. A simple afterwork "lets grab a beer" with a coworker can often result in a dui. It doesnt have to be dark out on a friday night and you to get wasted partying to get one. You could simply just have a "few".

4. Once the cop arrests you under suspicion you are fucked. You are gonna blow a bad breathalyzer more then likely.

5. REFUSAL TO SUBMIT TO A BREATHALYZER IS AUTOMATIC GUILTY OF DUI

6. The new Alcotest breathalyzer systems cannot be "beat". They also record your reading in a large file of breathalyzer results and go to the state. You cant have a cop buddy make the bad results "go away". You are not gonna beat this system because when you are drinking and driving and you get pulled over, you are gonna be too concerned with "looking sober" your mind wont be able to do any "tricks" that could result in a pass reading or a botched test. You simply will either fail or pass the test. Most of the "tricks" people talk about dont work at all, have never been proven and are bro science.

7. Mouthwash or any kind of alcohol based product that is the persons mouth CAN give a fail reading on a breathalyzer. t his would be one case where you can conceivably get out of a dui. However, to combat this happening, most police departments in the US wait approximate 15 to 20 minutes BEFORE they take you into the station to perform the test. This is to have the best chances at accurate readings.

8. You metabolize one drink per hour and often "peak" with your BAC AFTER you may have had your last drink. Inotherwords, you can have 6 beers and not actually get the full effect till a good 10 mins after you stopped drinking. Maybe even longer. Meaning, you drink at the bar, feel alright, then as you are driving your body gets progressively more inebriated.

9. People look down on DUI offenders. Its just the truth

10. They CAN and likely WILL effect you and your job, particularly if you do anything that requires you do driving in company or customer cars etc. You can ruin your career for up to 3 yrs or more basically.

11. There are "worse" crimes that get treated better then a first offender on a dui.

12. most people talk shit about people getting a dui, get very holier then thou, not realizing they themselves have driven drunk frequently and MULTIPLE times. Simply because society is ignorant to what a DUI actually is

guys and gals just get a fucking ride. Call a cab. they are expensive, they take forever to wait for sometimes, but in the end its so much better. I'll walk 10 miles in snow barefoot before I'll ever drive after drinks again.

I'm either drinking or I'm driving. Theres no point in "just having one or 2" and then driving. why risk it? You wanna drink? drink. But dont drive.

Man take it from some that has a DWI and has beat a couple in my time. It is a whole lot cheaper to TAKE A CAB or NOT DRIVE. Waking up in jail with a hangover is the worst feeling every. Then you need to get bailed out, find your car bail your car out and then drop a good $5000.00 on a lawyer and court cost. Think about all the cool mods that lawyer can put on his car now and how you now can't even drive your car for at least 6 months to a year if not longer. The breathylizer does not measure the alcohol on your breath it measures the alcohol in your blood that pumps through your lungs. Ifyour going to continue to be a dumbass take this advice NEVER agree to any test Never blow take the refusal. Its cheaper for you in the long run and the cops have less to work with in court. I'm speaking from experience you may think it won't happen to you trust me sooner or later you'll forget to use your turn signal and your done silver bracelets and a free ride to the clink.

Now I have even more reason to hate those that DWI. I just learned that a friend and former roomate was killed in an auto accident by someone that was driving drunk. Nothing so haunting as looking at someones facebook and seeing on there that they are dead. I hope like hell that the asshole that was driving drunk gets thrown in jail for a very long time! That is another thing, the one that drives drunk usually survives while the innocent person dies,it is not fair and it is with that reason I believe that the drunk driver that kills an innocent person should be in prison for a very long time if not executed!

get pulled over, step out, throw keys into ditch preferably somwhere you will kinda remember where, open bottle, start chugging....

i've heard a story of a guy getting a dui and he was sitting in the back seat. cop come up to him ask's him whats up the drunk says i want to report a theft. the cop says ok, the drunk says someone stole my steering wheel.

They are changing a PI law here in IN. A friend of one of our state house legislators got a PI walking home to his house. The cop saw him walking, maybe staggering a bit, and he gave him a PI. He told the cop he was walking home since he was too drunk to drive, and this was the reward.

Anyway, the new law will be that you can't get a PI in this situation, as long as you aren't endangering yourself or others.

Finally, a good change in the law.

Man if I was a cop fuck P.I if the person in question was walking to avoid driving a car. If anything he or she would be getting a pba card for that. If their house was close by i'd even give them a ride for doing the right thing.

Thanks for the advice. I don't know if I have the balls to chug a bottle of whiskey in front of a cop though. It's hard because I'm single & socialize a tremendous amount at bars, so the only real way for me is to just pace myself as slowly as possible and drive safe.
