I beleave "Dave" ( YANK ) is also a sponsor just google Yank, call and tell Dave the specs on your car and he will guide you to the correct conv. for your car, or go to Yanks site and order it tonite. I ran a Yank ST 3500 2.3 str for 6-7 years now on a
SS 4000 3.6 str and happy with both

nope.....I could easily DD my 3500. You'll really only notice it on take off until you get up to speed and even then the only thing you'll notice is the rpm's are a little higher than stock. Well, there is one other time you'll notice it.....when the pedal is on the floor. You'll wonder why it took you so long to do the mod.

I have a SS3200 Yank in mine. It should have came from the factory this way. Very street friendly. Good performance. If you are looking for drag strip performance might want to go with a little looser.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
I have a Fuddle 3400 in my 02. Only reason I lost a few mpg's was due to the excesive use of the throttle for the smile quotient. I could easily use it as a DD.
67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...
2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior
2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.
Carbon footprint? CLOWN SHOE!

Just ordered a 3,200 for our car. Really looking forward to using the smile pedal after the install.

Not yet. Building it from back to front. Figured there was no sense putting any $$ into the engine or transmission if it was just going to break stuff out back. I wasn't even planning on headers last year, but the tunnel mount and driveshaft loop setup would not cooperate with the stock Y.

Call Dave at Yank. He will set you straight. He will probly recomend the same stall for you as he did me if you have 3.23 gear with mostly a street car/ strip maybe a couple times a year. SS3600 is the best all around converter for my car.

convertor help
i have had both and can't say i prefer one over the other, i can say that the yank i had seemed to want to flash stall faster than what i had speced out and as far as the vig, it always flashed when supposed to but it would vibrate at lock up and drove me crazy. the most luck that i have had in the past 2 years is i've been running and edge in one car a circle d in another and a tci in 1 more. the edge seems to be very nice and true to specs the circle d not to bad but still expensive like the edge, so far the bang for the buck has been the tci with a 3300 stall and i thank was 549.00 shipped to my door. so far pleased with tci and if you just want to spend money there are several others out there
