the rear is definatley reminiscent of a 69/70 charger rear





as with the current 1st gen of 4 door chargers, I like the R/T model better. I have always found the SRT8 versions grill/foglights to be too over styled, and this one only takes it one step further by making it look almost imported. the rear, hood and doors however are flambouyant, but muscular, and thats how a Dodge is supposed to be portrayed, I don't hate it, there is certainly worse. I wish they took some of the aggression from this car and applied it to the Challenger.

Is it just me or does it look like Dodge is trying to copy Audi?

Even the headlights have the same curvature with the little itty bitty lights in a line on the edge of the light down to the shape of the grill and how it is blacked out and open.

I like it but still wouldnt want it. Body mods look like something out of Grand Tourismo where you design your own body kit.....lol

Wow, I figured the SRT version would have been nicer than the regular, but I guess not. Those wheels are fugly. I like the old style SRT wheels. Plus, they still have that same stupid automatic transmission. They would make the car so much better if they just went ahead and put in a proper 6speed.

I like dodge. I love the chargers.
But on the this STR8 they went to far. I looked at the R/T it doesn't look that bad.
I hope they can do something bout the rear bumper. That' what makes it look worst.
The doors I can deal with it.
The front end. They should of just have the grille on black Like the daytona. Not the whole font end.

That flopped from what I've read. It won't be able to hold up to the power so they're going to use the old 5-speed.

Also, I'm pretty surprised nobody likes it. I think it looks sick and it should really move out well. Even the last gen was a very impressive all-around performer for a full-sized sedan, nothing in it's class could really hold a candle to it. This one can only be better.

I dnt think it's ugly. I would buy it, specially cuz it came out with the new hemi, not the 6.1 no more. And I think the best choice on big cars. Is goin for auto and not stick,
But they went to much It looks like a replica of the evo on the front.
When I looked at the R/T I like that one.
The front end dnt look to bad.

back in 1970 the Coronet platform was resigned to the 'double hoop' grille, the LSD induced 70's designing dropped sales dramatically.



nowadays, 1970 Coronets and Super Bees are probably the most saught after year to have one, partly due to the wow factor they have.

every now and then Dodge makes a crazy looking car that turns heads, this new Charger is doing it's job.

I like the look of the new bodystyle rt's which don't have the blacked out front. I think someone's gonna buy one and tint the taillights and the back will look amazing. I'm digging the recessed tails.

Yup, I agree 100% dude, I actually like the grill, the whole front end is great in my opinion actually.

I can't wrap my brain around why everyone thinks it's a copy of Mitsubishi's EVO X, the contrasting front end design isn't specific to Mitsubishi. A lot of manufacturers from around the world use it, looks great in my opinion actually. Even GM does it, take a look at the front-end's on some of the Holden's such as the HSV, it has the same thing.

Damn, that thing looks awesome.

These cars would look way better with a different spoiler, I think a nice lip spoiler would really set them off.
