heard today that it sounded like JG was going to get the Dallas job. Nothing official but JJ had positive things to say about him and said they'd be filling the position soon. Pretty sure I also heard the Vikes are keeping their interim coach too ( not sure of his name).

Not reverse psychology this time, I truely think the Saints will utterly blast the Seahawks. They are playing a backup QB(who sucks), their coach has a proven losing NFL record, they got into the playoffs with a losing record as well. The Seahawks are a terrible team plain and simple and really have no business in the playoffs.
I do think the following week will be the end of the Saints run though, I don't see them going into Chicago or Atlanta and winning at either of those venues. They would have a better chance of winning at Atlanta instead of Chicago, but winning 2 games in 4 weeks in Atlanta would be tough.

Vikes officially hired Leslie Frazier yesterday. Vikings might set a record next season for most rushing attempts and fewest passes attempted in a season. They got sole possession of last place in the division this year, probably the same next year, because Detroit will be even better next season. Welcome to being a HC Frazier.

yep...saw that today. Now if we can just lose Jenkins and Colston for the year then the shit sandwich will be complete.

Those RB's are a huge deal but this offense circles around Brees. We still have Bush and Jones so we're not totally screwed yet but the challenges are mounting.

I agree that it is not the end of the world because I expect Reggie to have good games in the postseason. That guy shows up in the playoffs and is coming off of a good game against Tampa with limited touches. I’m excited to see what he can do when he is forced to take on a bigger role.
If Jenkins can't play his “back up” (while old and not as good as he used to be) is no slouch either.
And if Colston can't play, Adrian Arrington (another 7th round pick) is a guy that Payton has been grooming for a couple of seasons now and showed his potential against TB.
If any team is built to deal with injuries it is the Saints. However, I really feel a lot more confident when Ivory (or PT) is in the game. Looks like the Madden curse skipped Drew and hit the RB’s instead, we now have 5 on IR.

Outside a few big games from Ivory - there running game has been pretty non-existant. Mr. Brees has been able to smooth over the inadequecies of that fact, but on the road, outside, and on grass, could really be the nail in the coffin. Either way, I'm going to enjoy the playoffs and SuperBowl as much as I can until it's fall again

Wade Phillips is going to the Texans as a Defensive Coordinator.
Seems fitting....cupcake, hand holding coaching style for a continuous piss poor performing team
I can see the meetings now...Please guys can you please tackle the Running back...
Enjoy never making the playoffs
Greatest move JJ has made in a super long time.

games like that will be where Pierre Thomas is missed the most. Just have to wait and see. Reggie tends to step it up a notch for the big games so maybe he'll have some good games. I kinda like some of the things I saw from Julius Jones too....not sure he's really a premier back these days but he's a veteran and runs hard. I've never heard of Joike Bell or whatever his first name is they picked up from Philly. Probably won't get many touches this early anyhow. Wynn I have seen run and he's not completely terrible. I think their run game will be enough so that Payton can at least call some run plays and if you're able to do that it leaves Brees to be Brees at some point. Gonna be interesting at least. We're lined up to have some very good NFC playoff games this year.

The Seahawks. If ever there was a good chance to break the superbowl next-year curse, this is it for the Saints.
Or was that sarcasm, meaning who do they play after they roll over Seattle?? Need that sarcasm font...

don't know....they're pretty banged up. As long as they beat Atlanta again I'd be good with that.
I got a real good friend that's a failclowns fan. It would set me up for a whole years worth of texts if they could go into Atlanta and keep their ass out of the superbowl.
We've been going at it for years. Last year when the saints went he came to my party and had his son decked out in Colts shit just to piss me off. He knew I wouldn't say anything to his son....wrong.

Vince Young's getting the axe, and not Fisher - smart move on the Titans' part.
