We have a bloodhound. He's the biggest lover of a dog we've ever had. Yes, he howls a lot. Yes, he drools alot. Yes, he can sling slimers 20 feet. Yes, he can run off. Yes, he's a hound and smells just like one.


We've got the underground fence and that actually contains him most of the time. He still runs through it, but doesn't run off anymore. He was 179lbs last time we had him to the vet. He's overweight, but he's happy and healthy.

he's working out to be a great dog. He really kicks the kids ass Everyone ends up tired. He's also learning pretty darn quick....much quicker than I expected from the reading I'd done. He's a pretty smart little dude. He'll be playing with the cat and the cat will get on the back of the couch where he's not allowed to go. He puts his feet on the couch and looks over at me. I'll tell him to get down and he just looks at me. When I get up though he hops down and runs like a bat out of hell. It's like his own little game he's playing.
