Glad I'm on Verizon. I only have to wait for Q1 to get my dual core phone

I'm set on the new Motorola Olympus/Etna.

That's coming to Verizon around Feb and the new HTC Incredible HD will follow shortly after. I'd wait if I were you. These new phones are way better than any current gen phone.

yea i did read what you wrote, keeping the post going as im sure others have the same issue i do and dont know what to get, whats out there and what will be available in the coming months--definately not up on this sh*t hell i dont even text lol and figured other might see this post and know of other phones that maybe coming out that you dont. Thanks for the link as well, now i got to play catch up

Seriously tho, if u can wait a couple months, by all means do it! With the iphone pretty much assured to go to Verizon and these new dual core phones coming out in Q1, you will have alot of choices. I could upgrade my current Droid right now to the X, but with the 'next gen' phones only a few months away, Im for sure gonna wait.

it might be that way on all suppliers. I dont know..

last I heard dual core Q2 for everyone. that was a few months ago on engadget

how much is this "dual core Q2" phones going to run?? im not paying $500 for a dam phone like when that POS iphone came out lol

thats the tough part, cell phones are on a 7-9 month shelf life before the new gen comes out.

its good be a platinum customer with sprint I get a new phone every 12 months for $150. my next one my be the HTC EVO 2, if that is their next gen. (that had a another code name for it, cant remember)

yea im not one to upgrade all the time like most do, hell i had my current phon (lg dare) for the last 2.5 years, still works fine, a bit scratched up but nothing special. So you see i tend to keep phones (had a cell for 10 years now and had 3 phones) so yea if i have to wait a few months cause way better phones will be out i can wait no big deal just that im so behind in the curve.

U should check out the links I posted earlier. The Olympus for AT&T will be out Dec/Jan then the VZ version (Etna) will be released a month later, soon followed by the new HTC.
