2009 Silverado Z71- 2003 Corvette MN6 Black
You know, I wondered about that.. The two times I topped my car out I wasn't scared of the speed, but more so on how long the engine red-lined until it went into OD

c5z28..the pistons on the drivers bank hit the head. All valves were bent. Some mains spun, some rod bearings spun. Main webs in the block were cracked. The motor was pulled and replaced. The dealer told me that a rep from GM was sent down to verify the damadge and take the motor back to GM for analysis. Duh...I reved the $h!ya out of it while running a broad in an early maro.

yeah, i was in the area for awhile. I went from active to reserves for a while and worked at the shop in elkhorn for almost 2 years from 08 until 10. then i transfered to a unit in Germany. You dont remember seeing a TA with a black hood rolling around there? There was actually two red firebirds in the area with a black hood. One was a formula and the other (mine) was a TA.

I havent seen either one. I have one black 1999z that my son now drives and one silver Y2K z that I just bought for him to drive and me to play with (work on). I had it shipped from Florida but what I thought was a warmed over street car turned out to a full on dragger. So it needs a little work to say the least. They dropped it off right at franks in August but the beast was so loud I only drove it to sentry. Left it there onernight cause half my neighbors are sherrifs.

2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
155+....with the T-tops off. Not smart, I really wasn't paying much attention to the dash. Was racing a Lightning that kept coming back for more every...single....day...for a solid 2 weeks on my drive home from work. Got tired of him not getting a clue, and this time he showed me a programmer, so I just went through the gears til I couldnt see him in the rearview. Look down and the speedo was buried. I then calmly crapped myself, and slowed back down to speed limit.
