F-Body Engine bays
I have only seen one good looking LS1 F-body engine bay. it was a procharged Firebird. I have never seen a clean engine bay in a camaro.
it was slow at work and I had a huge box from another car worked on, so I decided to start a template for a little engine dress up.
I dont think I have seen an aftermarket cover for the ugly space between the core support and the bumper, so I decided to start making one. im not sure on the material I am going to use, but this seems like it will be relatively easy to make. if it looks good and its pretty easy, I might talk to a local shop about manufacturing something for our cars.
here is what I got so far.
even with just the card board it looks better IMO. im thinking plastic or painted sheet metal might be some possibilities.
anyone got any pics of clean F-body engine bays I can compare to? (preferably camaros, but any will work)

theres a shop here in MN that is starting to manufacture things like this. they just started manufacturing the supercharger kits for the Lexus ISF. they have all the machining tools and fabrication equipment in house. this would be a cake walk. they are trying to get more into the domestic crowd too. i'll bring it up to them and see what they think. they are a sponsor on my regular car forum too.
