Pittsburgh comes to town next, they could be 4-4

yep.....dreading next sunday night but there's still that little part of me that hopes they get up for the good teams just like they've gotten down for the bad. I used to play a lot of pool and would have that happen to me. If you're playing a crappy player you tend to play crappy yourself.

Oh yeah the Falcons tend to be that way as well. And to switch sports for a moment, the Braves have been horrible about that. They've pissed me off the last two seasons by beating good teams and losing to bad teams more often than not...

This game is probably a make or break for the boys this season. They need to win and win big and make a statement. If they play strong, and win it might be the game that gets them off their asses and start playing right. If they lose then I think the whole season is lost and they will be 5-11 this year much to sleeperc5 delight.


I'll still cheer for the boys to win. Always have, always will.

As for a prediction I see Giants winning by 10 points

Some have been calling for him to be fired since the 2-8 finish last season.

The big gripe....draft Tebow in the first round (moving up to get him) and NOT play him in a game like yesterdays. Why get the guy then??

I agree and always will back them too. if dallas doesnt shoot themselves in the foot with stupid penalties and actually plays football and delivers then they will win

man.....a huge loss to the browns is hard to take. That's just about as embarassing as you can get really. Saints are in major trouble. I still say Drew is playing hurt. How many times in the past has he thrown 4 picks? 2 of those were pick 6. Watching the game today it looked like the entire offense was playing at half speed or something. There's absolutely no fire in the furnace there. Gonna get a lot worse before it gets better I think.

I'm not so sure he is hurt but I doubt he got much sleep or prepared for the Browns very much this week with his second kid being born on Tuesday.

It is time to pack up the wife and kids and send them on "vacation" until the season is over.

I think a spirited effort from the Cowboys tonight, but the Giants pull it out sadly. Dallas season ends tonight and they can start preparing for the draft and determining the route they will take with the coaching staff.

I figured as much, they are 4-13 since that 6-0 start last year. Moving up to draft Tebow in the first round was a huge mistake to begin with, and then not even attempt to use him has looked that much worse on him, like you said. I would think he gets the axe at the end of the year.

On the AFC side I've been a Colt fan for a few years (5). I like Manning, real good QB. If they play the boys I always root for the Boys, but that doesn't happen to often. So if Colts make it to the playoffs and it looks like the Cowboys won't I'm stating that I root for the Colts if the boys don't make it to post season.

Pat Bowlen held onto Shanny 3-4 seasons too long....but they were good friends as well, so that plays into it.
I think he has until the end of next season. Could be wrong though.

There is a decent possibility the Colts miss the playoffs this year too. The AFC south is very competitive. The Colts have already lost 2 divisional games and they have lost Dallas Clark for the season and Austin Collie indefinitely. I think the east and central will get the wild cards, so the Colts essentially are going to have to win the division to get in. They can do it, but its not going to be an easy task.
