Not a bad Idea. I actually perfer my microfiber. I always use those with my Mothers Detailer spray. Do I really need a electric polisher to do a good detail job or can i get good results by hand. I had a professional detail the outside. He didn't get alot of the inperfections out and the first time he gave it back to me with swirls everywhere. I think he had one of his low paid workers do it. I am worried about putting swirls in my car, but I think I will do a better job since its my car.

With Zaino you should be doing this by hand. Electric "polishers" are a joke, $30-40 ones are garbage. Its the Porter Cable 7424XP or a rotary, thats it. But rotary is not novice friendly. Also sounds like thats what your hack detailer used and swirled up your car. If you want that fixed you need a REAL detailer to come correct the paint first, then you can Zaino it. Check Autopia's regional section to find a good detailer and make SURE to get before/after pics of paint correction in direct sunlight.

By electric polisher, I meant one like the porter cable or makita. But it sounds like the Z-PC or the Z-5 might beable to fix the finish without using any machines. Atleast that is what they are advertising.

Zaino does a pretty good job of filling in fine scratches and swirl marks, but if the scratch is deep enough, you'll need a buffer and mild abrasive to remove it.

My paint looks petty good, where with the Zaino poducts I could get it looking pretty good I think. My biggest problem is that I ave rock chips on the hood that really catch your eye. I have some of the stock paint color. Can I put some in the chips and wipe off what gets on the paint? Or is there a blu wax or something I could use?
