Black- 1967 Camaro
1967 camaro rest-mod
My wife and I just bought our dream car. A 1967 camaro. It's a project car for us. We emptied our savings (new home fund) account to buy it, so it will be a few months before I can actually start doing any work to the car. So this is my time to plan out what I am going to do. I am a working full time and I just recently commuted to going back to school to get my degree.
Curently it has a V8 in it although it started life as a 6 banger. It has a muncie 4spd still going to the original rear end. It has manual from brakes and steering.
I want to turn this car into a reliable daily driver. Things I know I want are power steering, power brakes, and LS power.
So I'm open to hearing suggestions from members on how to acheave this goal without breaking the bank. Thanks
Joe

Thanks for the info. I'll check it out. I used to own a 99 formula and after that an 01 WS6 when I was in the Air Force. My formula was a mean car. GM hotcam, SLP longtubes with freeflow cats, a reprogramed comp, and a list of free mods... Having owned 2 LS1 vehicles in the past made it an easy choice on what motor I want to swap into my 67.
Again, thanks for the info, and look forward to becoming a part of this online community.

Like I've always said about 67 Camaros (I've had 6 of them thru the decades): "You want to fly then you've gotta have wing(window)s"...
Post pix when you can. Also what was on the trim tag?

Black- 1967 Camaro
It's been raining here in San Diego the last couple of days. As soon as it clears up a bit, I plan to get some photos so everyone CSM see the condition the car is in.

We've had rain the last few days here too which hardly ever happens
Some wicked thunder and lightning storms last night. It was pretty cool
