Power Loss?
Hey guys, been a while since I posted...
I got bolt-ons, 3.73s and just got a rebuilt trans stage 5 ... and a 2500 stall from TCi... car felt great ... but now it feels kinda sluggish, even lost 2 or 3 miles in the quarter... definetly doesn't feel as fast on the top end...
also, used to have 335whp, after the stall it went down to 320whp, is this normal?, is it the Stall getting loose and causing parasitic loss or what?
thanks for the help!

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
Is that from a Mustang Dyno? #'s seem low.
What bolt ons do you have?
When is last time you cleaned your MAF Sensor? Not saying that would account for 2 second drop in time, but would account for some sluggishness. What gas are you running?
Fuel Filter? last time it was change?

DynoJet.... i got... SLP CAI, LS6 Manifold, Headers, Exhaust... Automatic... 335, seems just about right... same dyno lost 15whp... after the Stall and Gears...
haven't cleaned the maf, will get to it though... fuel filter might need changing... and gas is always 93oct...

a while ago I had a Transcooler line get loose and it sprayed the whole motor, I wouldn't doubt the Maf is infact dirty, or that something else got damaged...
already had to change the Alternator and Battery this monthMods: SLP Air Lid w/ KN, Free-Mods, LS6 Manifold, Magnaflow, Headers, EFILive

I would start by cleaning the maf and the fuel filter and see how it feels. I know my car had lost power because my fuel pump went out right after the bolt ons. We found out soon as it hit the dynojet couldn't get over 302rwhp swapped the pump and it jumped to 338.9 and they did a ok tune at that shop but soon as my friend retuned it it felt a lot faster since they had it running way too rich. Start with the cheap stuff and see what happens. After the circle d 3200 stall goes in and we retune it again I want to go and see what it says the HP is with the new tune I know 1/4mile times will be better with the stall and I have never heard of it causing a loss of HP.

down here we have to run a little rich, like 12.5 AFR, just cause of the humidity and heat, if not we get detonation, but yes I'll start with the $12 gas filter, and the MAF cleaner, hopefully that'll help, I'll go to the dyno and test it out... see if need any retuning or something
