Actually the guy was in his 40's and claimed to know quite a bit about cars...
he told me it blew a headgasket... he said it was burning coolant for a while(i assume he kept driving it) then started knocking. When i tore it apart the headgaskets where fine. The intake gaskets where a mess as you can see. All the coolant he kept adding just ended up in the oil and eventually ate the bearings. If he wasnt such a know it all and brought it somewhere to get checked out when it started "burning coolant" a $45 pair of gaskets would have saved the engine.

I've added a new DD for winter driving. It's a '98 Honda Accord to go along with my '90 Honda Accord.

My car is owned by me, an (until recently) unemployed college student.
The house is owned by my parents, who can afford that sort of thing. I'm very grateful for what they have and do provide me with, I'm not gonna hassle them for a vehicle (or repairs) at 22 years old, especially when a large portion of their income is already committed to my brothers' legal and medical bills.
You should've seen my apartment at university though. Rent was about $300 a month, I had a pothead roommate, and a petting zoo worth of roaches and spiders. The third gen was much more fitting in that setting
I'll get some more pics of the whip soon though.
