As often happens to Chicago. The reason Collins has lasted so long is brains. Unlike Campbell and I presume Grossman, he doesn't make many stupid mistakes (so it figures two INTs were on tips). Too little talent at this point, though.

I didn't realize the Bears won, wow. Collins was pulled. It appears that the 3rd stringer will start on Sunday, but the GM really screwed up in not having a decent backup on the roster.

Absolutely, and without a doubt this month will be tough - if they(Vikings) can split in October, I'll see it as a huge win.

I've seen Rex Grossman's stats as bad as the Chicago QB's stats from yesterday and still win. The game in question was a few years ago against the Vikings.

I still think the wheels are going to fall off of Chicago.

The arrogance of "America's team" brings that upon itself.

That was a term appointed by others not by the team, so they run with it.

Look at their history and Cowboys have contributed more to the NFL then the NFL has contributed to them. Their record as a team is still one of the best and they have always been a tough team to beat then most. When you have a record like that you can be arrogant. NFC East is always the toughest division to play in and against. You can't always win all the time, nobody will want to play. Everyone loves to hate on the Cowboys but when they are winning boy does the bandwagon get full all of a sudden.


Are the Jets are on fire this year or did Farve just needed to stay retired? Only watch the first QTR.

Look at their history and Cowboys have contributed more to the NFL then the NFL has contributed to them. Their record as a team is still one of the best and they have always been a tough team to beat then most. When you have a record like that you can be arrogant. My optimism only goes as far as how his elbow holds up - last night was a huge leap forward in a lot of ways, win or lose.

You missed a fun final quarter and a half of football......their D was lights out in the first half. The Vikings defense showed again how good they are by holding them to only field goals in the first half, especially given such good field position for the Jets. (esp. in the 1st half)

I think its more of a head coach then QB. Bag on Romo all you want but he still has impressive numbers. He may not be a leader type player and ppl need to get off the notion that QBs are always the leaders of the team. Some players need to step up and put that spark of drive into the team on game day. With out it not much happens.

Dallas at Minn this next week, both 1-3, loser goes to 1-4 and season is over for the loser. The Vikings need to find a direction on offense, they start out like they are dedicated to running Peterson, then give up and don't use him for what seems like 30 minutes. They have talent, I have more hope of the Vikings digging out of their hole than I do the Cowboys at this point.

The Vikings D deserves a huge pat on the back, they have kept them in every game this year. They have played great down around the red zone this year.

Favre needed to either stay retired, or get off his diva ass and actually practice with the team in the off season. He thinks at 41 years old that he can stroll in at the last second and play like he did 10 years ago. Reality check for the arrogant old diva.

I figure Brees is playing hurt and they're keeping it under wraps. No other explanation for all the check downs and under/poorly thrown balls. I'd like to know if it's his knee or shoulder though. I'm not in panic mode quite yet and hope that in the next 2-3 weeks they find their swagger again and get some people back healthy. Should have Bush, Sharper, and Thomas back in that timeframe. Until then it's 2007 again as a Saints fan.
