Navy Blue Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 NBM
Couple questions. What is the difference between TTM's and TTII's, they look the same?My other question is what does everybody think looks better?Polished or chrome, maintenance aside?

It looks like the 2's are a little beefier around the center cap. Look a little heavier. The second step on the 2's also look like they are set a little deeper. Can you put a 17 x 11 on the back with out any alterations?

ok
TT2's
-only are polished aluminum
-have a more rounded spoke, both outward and around the spoke
-come in an 11 inch width (and i believe a 9in width)
TTM's
-only are chrome plated (more easily maintained but may lack some of the shine of a polished aluminum IMO)
-have a pointier spoke and a touch more width on where they connect to the outer part of the wheel
- come in a 10.5 inch width (and i believe a 8.5)
personally i went with the ttm, bc i liked the look of the ttm, pointier spoke seemed to be a sharper wheel, and the car is a dd so maintenance was a bit of a concern

I stand corrected on the aditional sizes, and i knew the ttms came in other painted colors, i was just going shine for shine... and as far as the chrome vs polished, with a jood chrome polish, they will really shine, for example when i had the second set of tires put on i took the wheels home and set them in the living room and went to town on them with a powerball....
funny you mention the BC's, they were my original pick, i wanted them bad, but i couldnt justify the 1300 they wanted per rim.... so i took their lookalike and wint with the ttm lol
and as far as the calipers go, on a dark car with shiny wheels, a black caliper will really make the shine of the wheel pop out and grab you

99% of the time rim size is a balance between performance and looks. For most street cars not overly concerned about performance..20s will be fine..for those more performance oriantated it is a huge no no...I have seen a drop in performance when I went from stock 16s to my ttm 17s...but I made the sacerfice for looks

How bad do u think the 20's are hurting me rite now I'm doing 13.4 @ 106 in the qtr (with a horrible launch) I think I should be getting 12.9 + or - .1 with a perfect launch

[quote=csmiff;2481199]a 12.9 would require you to cut about .2-.3 off your 60' ...i dont know how much they are hurting you..as i dont know the weights or the tires you are using...but it could also be that with all that rotating mass..the 60s you are getting are the 60s you are going to get with your power where it is now.

This is my first post on here so I hope it worked
those are just 17 inch aftermarket corvette rims with a 245 45 tire all the way around
I've been thinking about getting bigger rims and tires though
any suggestions?
