I was pleased to see the Browns win - but I certainly didn't think they would.
It's too bad about Vick - hopefully he gets well soon.
The Packers didn't play very good at all - minus the Woodson INT for a TD, they may not have won.
Saints scabbed out again.
The Jets looked solid, even if it was Buffalo. I'm not looking forward to next Monday night.
The Rams are playing 'decent' and beating teams I thought they had no chance of beating.
Atlanta found a way to win.
And the game of the day was the Colts/Jags game - WOW!! What a great game!

Rams are improved and Stephen Jackson isn't 100% right now. Chiefs have to the biggest positive surprise thus far, maybe the Rams the next biggest surprise. Didn't they only win 2 games the past 2 years combined?
Colts/Jags game, probably the best game of the season thus far.

The Redskins almost found a way to lose the game. Another dropped INT from Rogers and standing next to receivers without really covering them. If the Eagles had made the two-point conversion or Kolb weren't extremely rusty, the Redskins' season probably would be over. That said, Torain and Portis were pleasant surprises, McNabb will be better, and the division is so bad that a victory over another local rival could happen.

I watched the saints game today and they didn't look as bad as the score shows. They ran the ball extremely well with a rookie RB and a RB they got off the street....little over 100 yards on the ground. 79 offensive plays and used up 38+minutes on the clock. Brees went 33/48 for 275. They had 2 very costly fumbles in the redzone that cost them points....one on the 1 yard line by Moore and another by the rookie RB. You also have to factor in that Carolina has owned their ass in the past....Payton is 2-6 against them so it's always a tight hard fought game. They also played without either starting RB and had 3 different starting DB's out of the game at one time or another. They're still not an offensive force like last year but they're also a 26 yard chip shot FG away from undefeated too. Hopefully they get the offense rolling soon....their D is having to carry them at the moment and at some point that's not going to be enough.

....I've seen you've logged in several times last week. Excuse is lame, just admit that the better team won this year and we can move on.
Spaz, I thought the Eagles would have brought a better game. But Vick getting hurt didn't help matters. QBs like Vick and McSlapNutts aren't RB's Get past the O line your going to get hurt. McSlapNutts is going to get seriously hurt if he keeps doing this.
Saints winning by the skin of their teeth again. With/with out Bush. Going to be an ugly 6-8 weeks.
Jets, Giants, and Chargers owned their opponents this weekend.Last edited by SMWS6TA; 10-04-2010 at 08:24 AM.

Wow, no bias in this post...
Atlanta's way to win this season has been luck more times than not. They are two plays away from being a 1-3 team. But not for the statistically improbable missed chip shot Saints would be 4-0 and Failcons 2-2 (at best).
It is too bad that the Saints don't play Atlanta again until so late in the season. By then they might already have home field advantage wrapped up considering NFC play this year and won't have any reason to crush the Failcons.

Wow, as if your posts don't reflect any bias at all
As if the Saints couldn't easily be 1-3 and are two plays away from being just that as well, who are you trying to kid other than yourself? Oddly enough, the only game I think they should've won was their first game. Where's the bias now? I'm a realist.
If, if, if
they're two plays away from being 1-3, but they aren't.
It's clear about our opinions of one another's opinons.

The Falcons' win over the 49ers wasn't luck at all. They held the 49er for 0 points for the last 54 minutes of the game, while they chipped away. And that play at the end was fantastic. Roddy White hustled his ass off instead of giving up after the interception. He ran that guy down and stripped the ball out to make a great play. If the 49er had just fallen down they coulda snapped and downed the ball and run the clock out and won. But he ran for glory and paid for it. In his defense, at least he wasn't showboating as we've seen in years past...
Now the win over the Saints, with that guy missing that field goal, yeah that's another story!
