Good facts please
Ok guys , I have a question. Very important.
What are the best heads that produce good horsepower/ flow numbers for ls1 motor?
I have 1st stage ported 243 heads.Last edited by odinsonthor; 09-25-2010 at 02:35 PM.

Should be in the "Internal" section but I'll post some info!
There really is no head that "Is Best" for these motors that I have found
A good head that is fairly cheap now a days is the LS6 head (243/Z06) Light weight valves, flows more then LS1, good for about 20 hp out the box with no other mods to them, easy to find and last but not least.....affordable┌∩┐(◕_◕)┌∩┐
Man: The Mods you are fighting,
they are the biggest Men I have ever seen. I
wouldn't want to fight them!
Me: That is why no one will remember your name!

the best flowing has to be some kind of CNC posted head.....i for one like AFR and run them on my 408 but thats just my .02......im sure there are others out there like TF and whatnot BUT to flow the best it has to be CNCed
